Back at JFK!

If this photo comes through this is what Danny looks like after ending up in the same place we left 7hrs ago.

The good news is we did not crash! We just found out our plane lost an engine and the reason why it took so long for us to land was because we were dumping the huge amount of fuel we had for our JFK to Korea flight.

So that explains the fire trucks!!

We are being sent to a hotel and they are calling us about when we will get another flight. Fun times! Connor, ever the super traveler, is doing great on no sleep. Danny is even behaving as well.

Glad to hear you are safe, and hopefully you are now on your way to China. We are so excited for you and can't wait to meet your sweet Lizzie. We will anxiously be awaiting an update. Hugs to all of you from the Nortons! (PS We are headed up to UT for my brother's wedding and see family. Luke thought he was going to see your Conner, instead of his cousin Conner. He was a little disappointed). Kelly

I feel for you. I our way to Xiushan in 10/07 our flight from Syracuse to DC was delayed and we missed our connection to Beijing by 15 min! We had to spend the night and try again the next day. The good thing was we went 5 days early too so we did not miss gotcha day! I will be thinking of you and praying that you get there safe to deliver all of the wonderful things to the orphanage and see that beautiful little face. :)

China in our Hearts

We feel so blessed that through this adoption process we have truly seen God work many miracles in order to bring our family together. When people ask us; “Why international adoption?” The answer is easy, “Because our daughter is in China.” -Andrea
